A, The Rules of Set and Duan Technique Degrees Abroad of Chinese Health Qigong (herein called Set and Duan) is made according to Regulations of Evaluation on Technique Degrees Abroad of Chinese Health Qigong (herein called Regulations) and in the light of Seminar abroad of Chinese Health Qigong so as to carry out the Technique Degrees Abroad of Chinese Health Qigong and to straighten the evaluation at the initial stage.

B, Persons abroad who participated in the Seminar of the Four Health Qigong and have been conferred a diploma may apply for Set and Duan which is temporarily classified as 1-4 Duans.

C, Persons applying for Set and Duan are requested to take part in the examinations conducted by the Chinese Health Qigong Association.

D, The operation of Set and Duan starts from August 2007 till December 2008 and the first examination on Set and Duan is set on the 26th of August 2007 in Beijing, China while the time and place for future examinations will be informed by a separate circular.

E, The examinations contents of movements and techniques of Set and Duan are that of Health Qigong-Yi Jinjin, Health Qigong-Wu Qinxi, Health Qigong-Liu Zijue and Health Qigong-Ba Duanjin(herein called the Four Health Qigong) created and published by the Chinese Health Qigong Association. The examination contents of theory on Set and Duan are the basic theoretical knowledge of the Four Health Qigong.

F, Article 7 in the Regulations applies at the method and standards of the movement techniques and theory examinations.

G, Article 8 in the Regulations applies at the requirements or conditions of the persons applying for Set and Duan, excepting the limit of the diploma’s years.

H, Those who completed the Seminar course with graduation certificate conducted by the Chinese Health Qigong Association and are recognized to reach D degree may be free of examination of THIS Degree.

I, Article 12 in the Regulations applies for the fact that the persons who have contributed a lot to the development of Health Qigong may be promoted, by breaking the rule and examined and approved by the Chinese Health Qigong Association., to a higher Duan on the basis of his or her examination results on Set and Duan who applies.

J, Persons failing to reach the criteria of Set and Duan examinations are conferred a corresponding Duan based on his or her results.

K, Persons passing Set and Duan examinations are conferred a corresponding Duan diploma by the Chinese Health Qigong Association.

L, Persons applying for the examinations of Set and Duan are requested to submit following materials to the Chinese Health Qigong Association:

a, Application Form of Set and Duan Technique Degrees Abroad of Chinese Health Qigong;

b, 4 recent full-faced photos of 2 inches;

c, a photo copy of the diploma obtained at the Four Health Qigong Seminar;

d, Examination and Approval fees (US$50 for Set and Duan 1-3; US$60 for Set and Duan 4);

e, The contribution materials of those applying for a higher degree by breaking the rules.

M, Persons applying for Set and Duan degrees in Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan region as well as the overseas Chinese may follow the Rules.

N, The Chinese Health Qigong Association reserves the explanation of the Rules.

O, The Rules of Set and Duan Technique Degrees Abroad of Chinese Health Qigong come into force upon promulgation.
