Chapter One General Principles

Article 1 Chinese Health Qigong Association has its abbreviation form of CHQA.

Article 2 Chinese Health Qigong Association is a national sports social organization engaging Health Qigong generalization, popularization and research. It is a non-profit social organization, a member of All-China Sports Federation, and is also the bridge connecting sports administrative departments and the masses. Chinese Health Qigong Association consists of Health Qigong associations of provinces, autonomous regions and municipality cities, sports associations of various trades and higher education colleges, other legally founded Health Qigong organizations and Health Qigong lovers.

Article 3 Tenet of Association: follow the Constitution of PRC, laws, decrees and policies, abide by social moral norms, unit national Health Qigong workers and lovers, succeed and promote Chinese culture, advocate and popularize Health Qigong activities in the masses, and serve for strengthening people’s constitution and promoting socialist material as well as cultural and ethical progress.

Article 4 Chinese Health Qigong Association accepts business instruction and supervision of General Administration of Sport and Civil Administration Bureau.

Article 5 Headquarter of Chinese Health Qigong Association sets in Beijing.

Chapter Two Business Scope

Article 6 Business Scope of Chinese Health Qigong Association

(1) Implement Health Qigong guidelines, policies, laws and regulations of the state and CPC;

(2) Carry out investigations and researches and propose ideas and suggestions for Health Qigong development;

(3) Hold Health Qigong activities home and abroad;

(4) Carry out Health Qigong researches and advance academic exchanges;

(5) Carry out Health Qigong trainings;

(6) Edit Health Qigong magazines and video products;

(7) Protect the property rights of the name, banner, emblem and symbol of Association according to the law, and properly use them;

(8) Undertake other Health Qigong activities consigned by General Administration of Sport and All-China Sports Federation.

Chapter Three Association Member

Article 7 Any Health Qigong associations of provinces, autonomous regions and municipality cities, sports associations of various trades and higher education colleges, other legally founded Health Qigong organizations and Health Qigong lovers that follow this Charter, if apply and pass the deliberation of the Association standing committee, can become group member or individual member of this Association.

Article 8 Any Health Qigong associations of provinces, autonomous regions and municipality cities, sports associations of various trades and higher education colleges, other legally founded Health Qigong organizations and Health Qigong lovers that follow this Charter, obey the lead of Chinese Health Qigong Association, support the Association work and actively finish tasks appointed by the Association and fulfill member obligations can apply to Chinese Health Qigong Association for enrollment.

Article 9 Enrollment Procedure

(1)Submitting enrollment application;

(2)Approved by Association standing committee;

(3)Rendered member card issued by Association standing committee or authorized institution by Association standing committee.

Article 10 Rights of the Member

(1)Enjoy the rights to vote and to be voted of the Association;

(2)Participate Health Qigong activities held by the Association with regulated qualifications;

(3)Get the priority of technical instruction and consultation services of the Association;

(4)The rights of suggestion and supervision to works of the Association;

(5)Voluntary enrollment and free withdrawal.

Article 11 Obligations of the Member:

(1)Abide by the Charter and implement resolutions of the Association;

(2)Actively propagandize and carry out Health Qigong activities;

(3)Reflect practical situations to the Association and provide relative data;

(4)Maintain legal rights of the Association;

(5)Finish tasks appointed by the Association;

(6)Pay association fee according to relative rules.

Article 12 In case of withdrawal from the Association, the member card shall be returned.

The case that members fail to pay association fee in one year or fail to participate association activities shall account as automatic withdrawal.

Article 13 Members in the following situations shall be canceled the membership:

(1) Fail to pay fees to Chinese Health Qigong Association in time as required;

(2) Severely violate the Charter of Chinese Health Qigong Association or relative regulations;

(3) Cause severe harmful effects or server economic loss to Chinese Health Qigong Association.
