——Chinese Health Qigong Association Delegation went to the USA to make exchange and exhibition activities in 2011

Upon the invitation of Tai Chi Wellness Foundation in the United States, New Jersey Table Mountain Rehabilitation Center and the U.S. Emei Shaolin Martial Arts, Assistant Secretary General Xiao Min of the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC) led a delegation of Chinese Health Qigong Association with team members of Zeng Xiaohong, Wang Yi, Zhang Jun, Ji Nawei, Hu Xiaofei, Chen Gang and Lv Shirong went to San Jose, California of the USA, Hanover City of New Jersey and Washington during January 22 to January 31, 2011 to launch a 10-day health Qigong promotion and teaching performances.

This event is the 9th visit of Chinese Health Qigong Association delegation to the USA. During this period, the delegation has conducted 46 teaching sessions with the number of participants of nearly 1,000 persons, 7 performances with the number of participants of nearly 400 persons and 13 lectures with the number of participants of nearly 300 persons. In addition, the delegation led by Xiao Min has conducted extensive exchanges with the reception organization and local community organizations of various circles to discuss the cooperation issues between the two sides and promote the local development of health Qigong activity. At the same time, the delegation also held talks with Chinese Embassy in the USA and the Consulate in San Francisco and attended the 2011 Chinese Spring Festival Gala in Greater Washington DC Area, the U.S. Medical Journal and CCTV reporter in the USA have made interview and coverage about this event.
